Now i got used to it. Mostly, this was because some time ago, in certain devices/browsers, the animations wouldn't loop. Since they're usually 1-2 second at most, it's quite annoying. Back in the day, with tumblr, i ended doing 1 minute versions, so people with this issue could watch the video properly without having to press play each 2 seconds. At this point i just keep doing it just in case xD. Now on sites like rule34 and such i just upload a .webm that is a 1-2 second loop, while i keep the original "1 minute version" on my mega archive. It would be better to upload simple gifs, since it's what my anims are afterall, but sadly the quality drops (or it takes a lot of space to keep it smooth)... I guess that the person who uploaded this downloaded my .mp4 from the mega archive, which is the 1 minute version
