Freaking epic! The colors, the style and context of the forms, just amaing! I love how the artist took the simple story of the relationship between these two characters and turned it into somthing more deep and unespected.

The Alice in the picture is actually from the Darkrai movie (Pokemon 10? "The Rise of Darkrai"). Not from Alice in Wonderland.





In the movie, she is kind to him, so he fights to protect her garden/town from destruction even though he is hated and feared by everyone in town.

The girl's name is Aleesha not Alice, Aleesha is Alice's grandmother from the movie. She gave Darkrai a place to call home basically and cared for him when he was injured. Darkrai in turn saves Alice multiple times throughout the movie the first time being when she was a little girl and fell off a cliff. In this picture the girl is Aleesha because Alice was wearing a pink dress while Aleesha is pictured in a blue one.
