indeed it could have.

heck a season 2 was originally greenlit but the lego company was making an offer for a show (Chima) and the exec immediately jumped on the occasion for something with a much lower budget, something less costly.
I got nothing against Chima but it just ain't thundercats 2011, even if the main character looks like Lion-O

this is just a case of quality being costy and the ones with the purse not willing to pay
