The hiragana reads as n+eee, not ne+eee (as in "isn't it sooo...?")

It's pronounced differently, so it is in fact a stretching sound effect. I'll leave the note there if anyone wants to disagreeeeeeeeeee....

stix66: No, it reads as (u)n-eeeeee since when reading Japanese text horizontally it goes from left to right.

Post #548487 shows the "Cheeeeeeee" side of the picture. Going to change the note to "eeeeeeen" as the tail end of 'Chen'.
