It has tha same insignia but its the Mark 2 alright. The Nu Gundam has a double v fin on its head.

This is th Mk.2, the RX-93 Nu Gundam has fin funnels where the beam saber/thrusters are. But still, imagining Amuro as a member of the Tians sends shivers down my spine...
