When you look at how low Himawari's health is (41/250) and see the damage she is rapidly taking (a number of 6s in short succession), it really drives home the fact that she's about to get digested and die. That the boss is recovering health equivalent to all the damage it does to her really nicely captures Himawari being mere prey at the end of the day as well.
