The Haruhi in the Shoshotsu timeline is at least harmless, deprived of her reality bending freaky powers as she is, if still very... Haruhi (Haruhi can only be compared to herself, after all) at least following the manga depicting her reassembling the SOS Brigade under the nominal leadership of Yuki.

Not having powers makes her by no mean less eccentric, but at least a lot less of a public enemy.
