Blue water means her jewel, so hardly yellow. Hotter wouldn't help since it's not filtered anyway: impurities remain within the liquid. It may work somewhat with seawater slowly sifting through the device & salt depositing at the bottom of the curve, as per the anime, but this here is flawed from the start: do this more than once and you're bound to die from infection.
