i hate being one of "those guys" but..blue and silver never EVER wore those half masks. only the full mask. also the mask are light blue cuz they're made of ice IF you've read the manga that is

Personally, I thought it was a "What if they didn't escape" situation, myself.

Either way, it's a great picture, especially with how the characters still have body language showing they're actually next to each other rather than the "You could place a pile of stones in the other guy's place and nothing would change" stuff that you see in a lot of two-person pictures where there's no plain out physical interaction.

anon 2 they both "mysteriously vanished" when they were young and underwent special training by Neo Team Rocket.. this is a kind of refference to that. Its a dark past that both of them share.

I always kinda liked the Big sister vibe Blue has with Silver :3 it just adds a Bond to a character who you think wouldn't be bothered with something like Friendship ^_^
