In the first OVA it is revealed that Bisca keeps a lot of animals in her dorm room... I don't remember if a llama/alpaca was included or not, but it is a rather interesting mount to say the least.

Also it's easier to draw fluffy sheep and llama type critters than it is muscled and toned animals like a horse.

which just begs the question of why do the girls keep weird things in their dorms I mean erza I can understand but fucking laki and torture devices in hers and while I love juvia as a character and she is pretty much one of my favorite anime characters as gray everywhere in hers
