Uh. That's only if you're going by the 2003 series. It's got nothing to do with the manga/Brotherhood series. Sure, it's obviously based off of europe since nearly all the characters have blonde hair and blue eyes, but that doesn't mean it's strictly nazis.

indeed, more like just central europe in general imo, plus time dating wise it would put it closer to ww1 not ww2, so i find it intersting that the decided to put them in ww2 europe in the movie.

if you see the map of amestris in the show its not a geographical represention but a metaphorical representation of germany. xing is obviously china, drachma is russia or more apropriatly the soviet union. i dont remember the other two im assuming ones america
