I dont know why he's crying, the only reason he HAD naruto was to have a weapon to 'protect' his belovid village. Minato didnt have a single ounce of love for naruto in that black heart of his, if he did, he would have allowed sarutobi to preform the ritual so naruto would have at least ONE person to care for him.
