That is not how Sturdy works. Sturdy prevents moves that OHKO pokemon from working. In other words, moves like Horn Drill and Fissure will not damage it. It's not a free Focus sash.

Sorry Anon 4, but Sturdy has been altered in Gen V. It now behaves a bit like Focus Sash, preventing OHKOs from all moves.
