I have used a Lilligant throughout basically the entire game, and I can count the number of times she's fainted on one hand. Training all my Pokemon equally, I beat Cheren with her singlehandedly on multiple occasions, and I chose Snivy as my starter.

Now that she has Petal Dance, with Own Tempo eliminating the only downside to the move, she's gotten far stronger than she used to be.

Basically I'm saying that Grass Types can be great.

SubSeed Whimsicott as well as its ability Prankster makes it one of the best supports in the game as well as being great in stalling.
