It's probably not the best place to ask this but since we have such a good image of the subject above us, I'm driven to pose the question: What's so overwhelmingly ...disturbing... about female armpit hair?? (or for some even pubic hair for that matter) Is the very sight of it on a girl/woman an immediate reminder that we're mammals no matter how hard we try to hide it?? I've heard the 'it's just gross' response countless times, but sincerely...what's so bad about it??

Ghostfight123, there's an answer for that. A lot of people think body hair is manly. Women in civilized society aren't supposed to be manly. So subconsciously people think hairy women are manly and by default gross. Seeing armpit hair on women is the same as seeing a woman with natural facial hair. You probably just never thought about it like that. On the other hand some people have a fetish for it and they aren't disturbed by it at all. So images like this are brought into existence.
