| Summary: | New really interesting features that I would love to see |
| Description: | For many years I've seen that gelbooru hasn't changed that much (I've been using this site for a long time but I recently decided to create my first account) and I would love to see new features like... 1) Today's most popular images. 2) Be able to see the amount of people who have seen your post. 3) Add friends. 4) About me. 5) Titles for each user: Things like "Ghost (Doesn't post, comment, etc)" or even "Frequent uploader", you get the idea. 6) Recommended images: Based on what you search and that kind of stuff. 7) Recommended users: Based on the kind of content you like and the kind of content that users upload. 8) "Insert tag" lover: You would be able to see this in a user's profile when he likes uploading a lot of images from an specific tag (Yuri lover, Paizuri lover, etc). 9) List of moderators and favorite users from the community: This can be made with votes or something like that. 10) Best friend: Send a request to this person to become your "Best friend" and if he accepts he will appear in your profile. 11) Background image for profile. Well, that were all my ideas, I really hope you liked them and also that someday they become a reality because I love this site and community and I really want it to be a better place for everyone! (I know a lot of people too but I'm just one more of them haha) |

| Another ideas that came to my mind: 12) Heart rating system: The option for every user to vote an image with 1 to 8 hearts, also everyone will be able to see how many stars (By amount) was given to the image. Something like this: One Hearts: 0 Two Hearts: 1 Three Hearts: 0 Four Hearts: 3 Five Hearts: 6 Six Hearts: 2 Seven Hearts: 12 Eight Hearts: 3 But it would look bad with just numbers, put some color bars to make it look better. 13) Something to chat easily: Something like whatsapp, a private chat because it can be a bit confusing only talking by Mails. 14) Favorite user list: Something like the favorite images but with users and also when you do that it will appear a number in the profile saying how many people have put you on his favorite list. 15) Amount of people who have put an image on his favorite list. 16) "Main page" (Or another name): A place where all the, recommended images, favorite users, friends, and recommended users will be appearing. |

| We can't really make an exception. We use tickets to keep track of which features we're planning to work on, currently working on, and have finished. Please submit a ticket for each of your suggestions. |

| In regards to some of your specific suggestions; For number 5, we already have a system for adding titles for each user. It was a Patreon reward tier. It isn't currently possible to get, since Patreon shut us down, but to be fair to the users who paid money for it, we probably won't release it for free. For number 13, we have a Discord server. You can find the invite link at the top of any search or post view page. For number 14, you can already add the search for a user's uploads to your saved searches. For, well, a lot of your suggestions, we are unlikely to push Gelbooru toward being a social media site. Due to the nature of some of the content we host, it's risky to act as a hub for people to socialize. We've had to ban certain types of content from the site just because of the interactions they were causing users to have using our systems as they already are. We don't have the manpower to monitor all users' profiles to pick out bad apples. We're already stretched thin as it is just moderating images and comments. |
