| Description: | Perhaps have a section on the site, maybe even on a user's profile, where they can submit their artwork. The community could comment or like it. Admins or moderators (whoever is in charge of this) could even add them to the main listing if they are good enough. Or alternatively, a tag could be used to add the user works to the main listing, but it would be defaulted to off so as not to disrupt users who wish to not use it. This would draw more artists to the site and any negative effects (such as quality) would be nil by making it defaulted to a different listing (as in you click on user submitted or something at the top and then search, or add a tag to the search to temporarily whitelist user works. If this were to happen, the site would be even better as users would have more choice and not have to move to other sites. |
