Now Viewing: oscar_(lupin)Tag type: Character オスカー警部補 A slender young man with black_hair who only appears in lupin_the_third:_mine_fujiko_to_iu_onna. He is unique amongst the Lupin iii male cast in that he has a feminine face and figure. His name and appearance are inspired by the iconic female lead of Versailles no Bara, Oscar Francois de Jarjayes. He is the most prominent new character in that series. He is the younger assistant of the experienced Inspector Zenigata and is the more hot-headed of the two. Oscar is madly in love with his superior thanks to Zenigata saving him from bullies when he was a young and poor boy. Inspired by Zenigata's heroism, Oscar feels indebted to him and worked hard to rise up the ranks of the police force so he could be by Zenigata's side. Unfortunately for Oscar, Zenigata's feelings towards him are strictly platonic and Zenigata seems to be more enamored with Mine Fujiko even though she's a criminal. This infuriates Oscar and leads him to be see Fujiko as his sworn enemy. Oscar's jealousy of Fujiko steadily interferes with his work as a police officer, sending him down an increasingly dark path. . . He is voiced by Kaji_Yuki.
