He has a girlfriend named Niki and is the only male character of the franchise to make an appearance in the Dead or Alive Xtreme spin off games also making him the male character with the most appearances in games besides Hayabusa Ryu who predates Dead or Alive and is the star of his own series. He is virtually never seen without his trademark sunglasses. He is quite laid-back and fun-loving and as a result acts as the series' comic relief. He has an attraction to Tina, and prior to meeting Niki, he would often flirt with her, but he's never gone anywhere with her. Nevertheless, the two remain good friends, though Tina does like to mess around with him. He is voiced by Shimada Bin.
