It is his most popular and longest-running work, it ran from November 6, 2002 to May 28, 2012. It has been adapted into a 2006 anime TV series by Toei Animation. It was directed by Kamegaki Hajime with music by Naganuma Hideki (under the name skankfunk), Wall5 Project, and Sakamoto Masaki. In 2010, it was adapted again into an anime OVA by Satelight that features almost an entirely different staff and the characters are recast with different voice actors. It has also been adapted into musicals. It is set in a Japan where a new fad has been born, Air Treks, high-tech roller skates that allow their users to perform all sorts of amazing tricks and effectively fly, but the popularity of ATs also has its downsides, various gangs have organized themselves around them and the races/confrontations between AT gangs can get violent. In public, Minami Itsuki (Ikki or Crow) is the toughest teen in his district, often single-handedly helping his friends deal with various gangs. When he gets home, he becomes the servant of the Noyamono sisters: Noyamono Ringo, Noyamono Mikan, and Noyamono Shiraume. He is powerless against the three girls, but at the same time, they are also responsible for building Ikki's physical toughness due to their tendency to use physical punishments. Unfortunately, one day he happens to anger a gang member with connections to an AT gang, the Stormsaders, who in retaliation, humiliate Ikki and his friends, and destroy his 'tough' reputation.
