Now Viewing: bladewolfTag type: Character A robot that resembles a wolf and Raiden's partner in Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. He has a chainsaw on his tail and a long tongue. When Raiden and him first meet, he attacks Raiden because his memory will be wiped if he doesn't. In his initial form he has glowing red eye on his face. Raiden destroys Bladewolf's original body but spares Bladewolf who is given a fiercer looking redesign. Bladewolf is grateful for Raiden sparing him but he tends to speak coldly to Raiden and rarely shows affection. Nevertheless, he feels loyalty to Raiden. While he does not look human at all, he has many human like traits and was programmed to be like a human. He is able to form complex thoughts and feel emotions, but he has limitations on what he can remember much like humans do. He also has many dog like traits like loyalty to one's master. When he was with Desperado, Samuel Rodrigues was his master and Wolf still feels loyalty to Sam. Wolf is based off of an unused concept from Platinum Games' Vanquish. Sam Gideon, the protagonist of that game, was originally intended to have a robot dog as a partner.
