In every episode the protagonist boy, Izumi_Ken, changes into superhero Chargeman_Ken_(character) to protect the Earth from a race of alien invaders called the Jurals. The anime consists of 65 chapters of 5 minutes each. The quality of the production is very low, with very limited animation and bad sound synchronization. The argument of the stories makes little sense, too. Chargeman Ken! remained in oblivion since its last episode was aired in 1974 until 2007, when it was released in DVD and its episodes were uploaded to the Internet.
