Now Viewing: charlotte_dunoisTag type: Character Charlotte Dunois (シャルロット デュノア, Sharurotto Dunoa) Charlotte is one of the main female characters of Infinite_Stratos. She is a first year student at the IS academy and is the IS cadet representative from France. Charlotte was originally introduced in the series as "Charles", the second "male" IS pilot student that was transferred into Ichika's class. Because she enrolls as a male IS pilot, she replaces Houki as Ichika's roommate. Like Ichika, Charlotte as 'Charles' gets a lot of attention from her classmates for her unique status as a male IS pilot and for her looks and feels awkward about said attention. Thinking she is a male, Ichika is much more comfortable interacting with her and is happy that he has someone he can easily relate to. As a result of this arrangement, Ichika later discovers her true gender and the true reason she is at the IS Academy. Charlotte was sent by her estranged CEO father to spy on Ichika to get information about how he is able to pilot the IS and gain data from Ichika's personal IS. To gain Ichika's trust, she is to pose as a male and she was trained to speak Japanese like a boy and act as a male. Charlotte is so used to speaking as a male that she continues to talk like a male even after the truth is exposed. Ichika is shocked by the discovery of Charlotte's true gender, but he comes to terms with it and decides to preserve Charlotte's secret. She is a kind and gentle girl who is well liked by almost everyone even after the truth about her gender is exposed. In IS combat, she works together very well with Ichika. Charlotte quickly falls in love with Ichika. While she can become clingy like the other members of Ichika's harem, Charlotte is generally more patient when it comes to Ichika and rarely gets angry. Ichika likes the way she smiles and praises it as being like an angel. However, she also keeps the smile even when upset which disturbs other people who witness it. She pilots the Rafale Revive Custom II IS (ラファール・リヴァイヴ・カスタムII, Rafāru Revaivu Kasutamu II), a multi-range IS possessing a wide array of interchangeable weapons allowing for fast battlefield adaptation. She is one of the most popular characters of the series and is the star of a manga spinoff called Infinite Stratos: Sugar and Honey She is voiced by Hanazawa_Kana.
