Now Viewing: dark_linkTag type: Character A dark and sinister looking version of Link with glowing red eyes. He first appeared in The Legend of Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link. However, his most famous appearance was in Ocarina of Time where he served as a mini boss for the Water Temple. As he is a mirror image of Link, he copies Link's movements, making it difficult for Link to hit him and if the player chooses to take him on in a straightforward sword fight, the fight will be quite long and challenging. He is unusual amongst the game's bosses in that trying to stab him using the game's Z-targeting lock on system backfires on the player because he will simply jump on the player's sword and attack. He has also appeared in Super Smash Bros Melee and Brawl as a palette swap of Link and is also an opponent in the game's Event Mode.
