In general, if the subject is sitting in a chair, is restrained to the chair by belt straps or other similar restraints, and is either being electrocuted or is set up to be electrocuted, this tag can be applied. An accurate portrayal of the electric chair will show the subject wearing a headpiece electrode connected to a power cable, and two more electrodes attached to the subject's (should be bare) legs, which may be built into the chair itself. If someone is sitting in and bound to the chair, this tag should be accompanied by the execution tag. If the subject is being electrocuted, the electrocution tag should be applied, and if the subject is still alive while being electrocuted, the torture tag should be applied as well. It should also be noted that some images use a variant of the chair in which an electrode around the neck is used instead of the headpiece. This version seems to be made more for torture, though the above rules should still be followed.
