His name is actually written in capital letters, HUNK, which stands for Human Unit Never Killed as due to a combination of incredible luck and his own fighting skills he is often the sole survivor of various attacks. For this reason, he is also referred to as Mr. Death or Grim Reaper HUNK. His real name and background remain a mystery, but he is clad in helmet, armor, and wears a gas mask that conceals his face. His gas mask's eyes have a red tint to them, though this more for a stylistic effect to make him look more sinister as he doesn't exhibit any superhuman powers. He is a cold blooded Umbrella soldier who is apathetic towards the deaths of others and is focuses on accomplishing his missions. He debuted in Resident Evil 2. Although he is a minor villain whose only effect on the plot so far is indirectly causing William Birkin to transform into a monster and taking some of his G virus samples, he became remarkably popular amongst fans and has appeared in the Mercenary Modes of Resident Evil 4, and Mercenaries 3D. He is also in Operation Raccoon City and also appears as a playable character in Umbrella Chronicles. He also appears in Darkside Chronicles. He is voiced by Keith Silverstein (Umbrella Chronicles, Darkside Chronicles, Operation Raccoon City).
