It was released in 2012 for the PS3 and XBox 360. The PS3 and Xbox360 feature different seiyuus for Juliet in the Japanese versions: Hikasa Youko (XBox360) and Kitamura Eri (PS3) Cheerleader and zombie hunter Juliet Starling arrives to school late one day only to discover that it has been entirely overrun with zombies. To make things worse, her boyfriend Nick is soon bitten right before her eyes. But the plucky Juliet manages to save him by decapitating him before he becomes a zombie and attaching him to her body. Nick, to his amazement, is still alive and capable of speech after this process. Juliet and Nick soon learn from Juilet's master, Morikawa, that Swan has caused the zombie outbreak by attempting to break the barrier between the human world and the Rotten World where all the zombies come from. Juliet sets out with Nick in tow to stop Swan and his outrageous minions. In contrast to most depictions of zombie apocalypses, this game is comedic in tone and colorful in its visuals. Sometimes chopping up zombies with chainsaws results in sparkles and hearts coming out instead of blood. The game's soundtrack predominantly uses pre-existing songs. It also features numerous pop culture references to music, movies, other video games, and zombie themed anime; Juliet can also cosplay as characters from other fictional works, mostly supernatural related.
