She is Igor's Velvet Room assistant in Persona_4, replacing her younger sister Elizabeth who has gone off to do something else. She fulfills the same function as Elizabeth did, fusing your Personas. While Elizabeth was not an official Social Link, Margaret is, representing the Empress Arcana. Unlike Elizabeth, Margaret is a calm and composed woman, rarely raising her voice and is more emotionally stoic. However, Margaret also has a quirky sense of humor that gradually reveals itself as Yuu gets to know her better, and can be seductive and flirtatious. Like Elizabeth did with Yuuki Makoto, Margaret becomes fascinated by and interested in Yuu, partially because she also wants to understand the change in attitude her sister has gone through. Margaret is also extremely powerful, functioning as a bonus boss in most of her appearances. In Persona 4 Ultimax, she is canonically the most powerful playable character besides Elizabeth. After Igor's seiyuu Tanonaka Isamu passed away and Igor's role reduced, Margaret more or less takes charge of the Velvet Room in her subsequent appearances. While she debuted in Persona 4, she is retroactively added to Persona 3 in the updated rerelease Persona 3 PSP. She returns in Persona 4 Ultimax, Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and Persona Q.
