She first appears a mysterious hooded figure with a distorted masculine sounding voice when a ship from Musashi crash lands on English soil. Tenzou Crossunite becomes acquainted with her after the two of them work to prevent the ship from crushing a group of children playing in the area. He ends up discovering Mary's true gender after an accident. Although Mary refrains from revealing her true identity, she and Tenzou quickly fall in love with each other. She is also Tenzou's preferred type of woman as she has a large bosom. Tenzou also develops an interest in female butts after he gets a good look at Mary's. Both of them share a strong sense of honor, loyalty, and compassion and also have a lot of scars on their bodies. As the two of them grow closer to each other, she gives him a few hints of her true nature. Her name and identity are exposed when her twin sister Elizabeth, the Fairy Queen of England, interrupts a date between Tenzou and Mary, to take Mary away to be executed. Mary is named after the real life Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots, who was found guilty of plotting to assassinate Queen Elizabeth. She was imprisoned and eventually executed. Mary of the KyoukaiSenjou no Horizon universe is expected to play her part in the historical reenactment of England's history and although she felt happy around Tenzou she feels resigned to this fate and complies with Elizabeth. Mary has also historically reenacted the role of Mary Tudor, Bloody Mary, who earned the name Bloody Mary thanks to killing 300 Protestants. Her scars are from the many battles she has participated in. She visits and guards the cemetery of the many Protestants she killed. Despite her infamous reputation, Mary Stuart is a kind and gentle girl which Tenzou recognizes. Tenzou's friends in Musashi all support his romance with her. Once Tenzou and Musashi learn of the true reason why she has to be executed, Tenzou works with Musashi to stop the execution at the risk of upsetting England. She is voiced by Horie_Yui.
