Now Viewing: mei_(seihou)Tag type: Character めい Mei & Mai_(Seihou) (めい＆まい) are 6-year-old identical twin sisters who were orphaned at birth in the Seihou Project games. They are known as the "Death Twins" and they have appear in all of the Seihou Project games. Their age as of Kioh_Gyoku is 5, and in Banshiryuu they're a year older. Mei and Mai first appeared in as the second stage boss of Shuusou_Gyoku, after that they appeared as a playable characters in Kioh_Gyoku. About 7 years later, when Banshiryuu had a Comiket 74 (C74) version release, they appeared as the 3rd Extra Stage boss in a boss rush. Mei and Mai have a nonsensical feeling associated with them, and thus their speech is often fragmented. Since they perform actions without thinking of before-and-after consequences, they like to come plunging in with speed. Mei (めい) could mean "niece". Although there's more possible meanings it's likely to just be an ordinary Japanese given name Mei's design in Shuusou_Gyoku shows that she has dark blue_eyes and has green_hair with a ponytail (with a white ribbon) to armpit-length. She wears black loose clothing with short sleeves and a short necklace. In Kioh_Gyoku she has a pink ribbon tied in her hair instead, her ponytail is neck-length and has long sleeves. In her cut-in, she possesses a scythe. In Banshiryuu, her hair is tied into a short_ponytail which has grown to shoulder-length, has a yellow ribbon to hold her hair and has what appears to be white fur around the top and bottom of her dress. She possesses a purple box with a "?" written on it. It appears somewhat similar to the question block from the Mario_(series).
