The Myoukou-class wears a purple uniform with a black tight skirt, white pantyhose and white elbow gloves. Nachi herself has absurdly_long_hair, black_hair in a side_ponytail that reaches past her feet, and brown_eyes. Her second remodel (remodel_(Kantai Collection)) gives her a new modified uniform shared with her fellow sister ships' second remodel. Her main difference is her longer boots. The serious fighter of her class. Also a doting sister to Ashigara_(Kantai_Collection), who in turn dotes upon Haguro_(Kantai_Collection). Her name makes for an easy (and unfortunate) pun with the word "nazi", especially considering the Japanese pronounciation of "nazi" (ナチ, nachi). Hence, the art featuring her wearing a german military uniform. Nachi is sometimes depicted as having a hatred or fear of aircraft due to an event that occurred while she was at port in Manila. While anchored, she was ambushed by an American raid that had intended to sink naval ships. Upon only spotting Nachi, she was attacked by about 60 planes, and hit by 26 bombs, 7 torpedoes, and about 20 rockets.
