She is the most well known character from the Soul_Taker/Nurse_Witch_Komugi-chan franchise. She started off as one of the main characters of Soul_Taker and its main source of comic relief. In Soul Taker, she is a mutant member of Hospital, one of the factions pursuing Date Kyosuke and his twin sister Runa. However, she is notably less ruthless and more empathetic than her fellow members. She falls in love with Kyosuke after he saves her from an accident and decides to leave the Hospital to help Kyosuke on his quest. In contrast to the otherwise serious main cast, Komugi is cheerful and upbeat though she often gets annoyed by Mibu Shiro's teasing. In combat, she uses syringes as projectiles and, being a mutant, can heal herself from injuries that would kill a normal human. In Nurse Witch Komugi-chan, she is made the protagonist of the series. She retains the same appearance, cosplaying, and interest in Kyosuke from her original incarnation, but she is turned into a magical girl/idol singer in this series. She gains an animal sidekick in Mugimaru and a rival in Kokubunji Koyori. She is voiced by Momoi_Haruko in her voice acting breakthrough role.
