She was completed in October 1937 and sunk by a torpedo from USS_Albacore_(SS-218) in February 1943. In the game Kantai_Collection, Ooshio has blue_hair, or purple_hair, hair with short_twintails and wears a chimney-shaped hat, skirt with suspenders, a twin-gun turret and a quadruple torpedo tube. Her voice actress is unknown. She is a cheerful, high-spirited girl. Her catchphrase is "小さな体に大きな魚雷! (Big Torpedo In A Small Body!)".
