In Friendship is Magic, she is a slightly older unicorn with a white color and a purple mane. She is very interested in fashion and has a talent for designing clothes. She has many classically feminine interests like a love of fairy tale romances. Like how Rainbow Dash is obsessed with coolness, Rarity is obsessed with glamour. She speaks in a refined upper class British accent which is likely affected as the rest of her family does not speak in this way and tries to act as lady like as she possibly can. While she can seem snobbish, she is selfless and is willing to go to great lengths to do favors for her friends. She is also quite strong physically and often directly strikes enemies with her hooves whenever she's in combat. She also owns a female cat named Opalescence and is Sweetie Belle's older sister. Spike has a very obvious crush on her even though he has not been able to openly tell her his feelings. He, in particular, seems to have a fondness for her hairstyle. She is voiced by Cathy Weseluck (G3) and Tabitha St. Germain (FIM). Her singing voice in FIM is provided by Kazumi Evans.
