He appears in Resident Evil: Code Veronica and in the Darkside Chronicles retelling of that game. He was imprisoned along with his father at Rockfort Island where the game begins after the opening sequence. He survives the initial zombie outbreak there and teams up with Claire Redfield shortly after he meets her. Although he is relatively friendly to Claire, he has a very pessimistic view of human relations due to him not getting along with his father. He is also attracted to Claire and falls in love with her over the course of the game. He favors Gold Lugers in combat likely because of their flashiness and often dual wields them.
