It is based off of his tendency to tell his opponents to kill themselves. One particularly infamous instance, and the one that inspired the meme, of this occurred in a 2020 Super Smash Bros stream where he went off on a rant that featured the eponymous sentence. In August 2021, a user created a photoshopped image of LTG channeling lightning while saying the memetic phrase, jumpstarting the meme.
