Now Viewing: oboro_(kantai_collection)Tag type: Character 朧 (Hazy Moon) Oboro is The seventh of the Ayanami-class destroyers (17th of the Fubuki_(Kantai_Collection)-class) as personified in the game Kantai_Collection. Like other Ayanami-class destroyers, she wears a serafuku, carries her turret in her hands, carries a smokestack as part of her back gear, and has torpedo tubes strapped to her thighs. Her particular trademarks are that she has a bandaid on her cheek and short_hair, orange_hair-brown_hair. Her real-life counterpart had a problem with crabs getting into her, so her official art shows a crab peeking out of her smokestack. She is frequently depicted in fanart having the crab with her 24/7 such as on her head or shoulder (animal_on_head, animal_on_shoulder) and treating it as a pet. Sometimes fanart will also depict crabs crawling out of her turrets when she least expects it. As of the Christmas 2015 update, she has a new portrait for her first remodel which takes profit of drew_(drew213g)'s refinement of his art style. She is drawn taller (if not older) than her unremodeled self and she wears knee pads and elbow pads. Her hair is swept backwards and she features three ahoge radiating from the same spot. She holds a Long 10cm twin turret with a crescent moon sticker on the back. A Long 10cm turret is the stock equipment for most remodeled destroyers in the game but she is in fact the first one who is portrayed with one for this very reason. As for the moon, see below. She, along with her divisionmates, has early Summer seasonal CG. She wears a green two-piece swimsuit with the bottom under her usual skirt. Her serafuku top is on her left arm and she wears an orange wrist_scrunchie. She carries around a bucket with a crab inside. When damaged, two other crabs appear. This portrait reveals that she has the second largest breasts of her division (Ushio_(Kantai_Collection) still has significantly larger breasts). She has another seasonal CG for Autumn 2015. She is wearing a green yukata with a hazy moon (object_namesake) motif with a blue obi with a matching stamp along with some hair_ornaments. She is holding a skewered corn cob along with some books. She still wears her backpack gear and her pet crab is on her shoulder.
