Kinugasa is an energetic girl of stereotypical high school girl style, but like many of the energetic destroyers or cruisers, she is mostly known (if she is known at all) as Aoba's less-popular younger sister, and is generally only seen in Aoba's company. She has grey_hair-pink_hair tied up in short_twintails with a pair of hair_ties, and green_eyes in tsurime style. She wears a standard serafuku with a yellow necktie, a belt, and dark brown thighhighs. When under medium damage, it is revealed she wears a yellow bra and side-tie panties. Her combat gear (machinery) includes twin-cannon turrets in each hand, the left significantly taller than the right, as well as a third turret strapped to her left thigh. Strapped to her back like a backpack is a miniature replica of the original ship's bridge, with a crane hanging off the back. In her second remodel (remodel_(kantai_collection)), half her hair is left loose, turning her hairstyle to a side_ponytail, her shirt gains two thin black vertical stripes, and a ribbon on each sleeve of her shirt.
