She wears a black leather outfit that exposes her midriff and emphasizes her bosom. She debuted in Ninja Gaiden and was playable in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 and 2. In her original appearance, she is on a mission to put her sister Alma, who is no longer human and has completely transformed into a fiend, out of her misery. Rachel herself is also partially a fiend and thanks to having demon blood in her, she is physically much stronger than most humans as evidenced by her being able to skillfully wield a large battle axe in combat as well carry around a gatling gun. She also uses a grappling hook to make getaways. Both Rachel and Alma have been afflicted with a curse that will turn humans into fiends, but Rachel has managed to remain human. Over the course of her debut, Rachel develops a bond with Ryu and is suggested to have feelings for him. However, he only sees her as a comrade. She also appears as a playable character in Musou Orochi II. She is also playable in Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, which is also the first time she is seen fighting hand to hand. Her fighting style is partially based off of Nicole-458's from Dead or Alive 4 and she is one of the strongest female characters in the game in terms of physical strength. She is also the only Dead or Alive fighter to come from a fictional country, Vigoor. The Resident Evil character is tagged as Rachel_(resident_evil) She is voiced by Tomizawa_Michie.
