Now Viewing: awashimaTag type: Character Awashima is a character from the manga/anime Nurarihyon_no_mago, who appears during Rikuo's visit to the Toono yokai village. Awashima is a "Amanojaku"-type demon who normally chops the firewood, who's day-form is male and night-form female. he/she is usually seen in combat using a katana as a weapon. He/she considers himself as male, using masculine personal pronoun such as "Ore", She also appears in front of Rikuo completely nude in an onsen bath and dislikes it when he/she is being treated as female. Awashima is among of the Toono yokai that follows Rikuo back to Kyoto.
