I'm pretty much indifferent to Caulifla. I don't hate her. But outside of being the first female SSJ, I don't really see anything else to rave about.
There's nothing particularly inspired about her personality. And Cabba and Kale at-least have more creative designs.
But she definitely needs a serving of humble pie. Because attitudes like that can start to grate very quickly.

The difference between Her and Goku is Goku Isn't a cocky aswipe that talks shit just to talk shit. She's nowhere near close to Vegeta or Goku's power. Honestly Gohan should be stronger than her too ( If he isn't they're bullshitting ) She's only similar to Goku in that she's strong. She's nowhere near as likable despite Goku being an asshole to the universes, Forgetting he had more than 1 son, Not caring about Bulma being killed in the future when she's been his friend for more than 20 years, and allowing Goku black to get a hit in when moments ago he raged over Goten and Chichi ( Not even Gohan ) Getting murdered with his body.

One thing Vegeta excels them there is his strategic battle tactics. Yes if he could mop the floor with them in a snap of his fingers but they are Sayijins and except for Goku and his brother all the other pure ones are dead. Unless you count Gohan, Goten, Pan, Trunks, and his new daughter.
So that's probably the reason he didn't fight against them because of his pride, and yes he could beat them down.
