If only there was a service that made pixiv like danbooru and the images that were uploaded there would automatically get uploaded here with the artists information. I suppose there would be a severe lack of quality control then though... its a shame that images like these lay hidden until they're found.

I don't see that working out well because of not only what you've said. But also because a majority of artists on Pixiv are poor taggers. And time and time again, many artists will not even bother to tag their own work.

To be fair though, Pixiv's 10 tag limit doesn't really help matters. But they could still be smarter about which tags they choose.
