Actually: They pulled one side off. If you look where the panties and pantyhoes cross, you'll see the left leg hold for her panties, is wrapped around the pantyhoes.

little late for a response, but unless you were describing this as a side-tie, you are wrong. the placement of the panties is only possible with magic or by sliding the stockings through the left leg hole then putting them on.
