He is a powerful S Class Mage with lightning based powers from the Fairy Tail guild and the Guild Master Makarov's grandson. Despite his stature, he seems out of place in Fairy Tail as he is openly disdainful of the others and is angry about Fairy Tail's reputation whereas almost every other Guild member is happy being in the guild. He often doesn't participate in Fairy Tail's wilder antics. He is, however, more compassionate than he initially seems to be.
