What is the Font called that's used for almost every translated image? Or perhaps I should ask what the most commonly used font for translating is?

It's obviously Comic Sans MS.
In all seriousness, though, there isn't a "most commonly used font" if you're actually going to do it right. Most manga typesetters I know have an entire collection of fonts, and they use ALL of them. Which one they use depends on the situation. They even use different fonts depending on how large the text is going to be. You can read entire tutorials just on selecting the right font.
