It's a older form of the word Zoomer "gooner," specifically from the infamous Wojack dialect of the famous "Internet slang" language. The Wojack dialect is slowly becoming overtaken by the more brainrotten Zoomer dialect due to an influx of Zoomers as they migrated from their native lands of their mothers' wombs and households and onto the world-wide web.

Not sure how it's older when I've only heard it a hand full of times in 2023 and 2024. I just want to make sure before I give the author of this thread my opinion.

Well, I was joking around a little, and I wanted to sound like a historian talking about some serious linguistic shift due to massive population migration.
Anyway, I'm not 100% percent certain, but I personally remember that "coomer" was used a lot before "gooner" started getting used more. I also know that generally more "adult"/edgier sides of the internet, such as 4chan boards and typically annoying edgy Twitter accounts are more likely to use "coomer" while "normal" citizens of the internet use "gooner" or "porn addict" if they want to be a bit more formal.
BTW, i have 2 chapters completed of this one: litter.catbox.moe/60lvwe.pdf While Sophia's story is still in pre-production. And yes, i have commissioned artworks of Sophia. And no, i'm not making them public. Sorry, i want to keep those confidential for obvious reasons You ain't getting my secret stash unless i get to publish my novel.

I heard gooner a small amount of times as well and I haven't been on 4chan for probably close to a decade now. I don't remember. I remember refusing to pay to post on 4chan boards and never going back, that's how long I haven't used that site. And I stay away from X accounts that cater to those crowds as well. I only use X to follow artists.
I'm gen X and the older I get, the less time we have to fuck around on the internet anymore. We still enjoy watching anime and hentai.

Never browse Twitter ever on my life and it was the best thing I done. I only use 4chan to browse on /vr/ and shitpost on dogshit boards, because it's at least funny.
