Ah, don't worry about it Malachite. You didn't made me upset. I'm very sorry if it came out that way. The last thing I want is to come across like an asshole.
Malachite said: I decided to actually just go research and see if I could find where that rumor started then because I like updating my facts and keeping my mind open. Her quote word-for-word that was passed around was “There are no unimportant characters.” which was played over a shot of Emerald, and that was probably where it started. I believe, though can't find them, that there were quotes from Sugar that she did want to do more things with homeworld as I remember them more clearly than the article that was passed around tumblr I initially believed. Is that stupid? Probably, but I was also 14 and unmedicated.
Also - quotes might've come from the official Steven Universe podcast when I think about it.
I genuinely don't remember this quote. From what I gathered, the quote could be back when Emerald was meant to have more appearences, aka. before season 5 became the final season. Sucks really, I would have liked to see what the show could have been if Rebecca had been allowed a couple of more seasons before wrapping up the conflict with the Diamonds, what were her plans with Emerald and other stuff that she originally planned.
Narukovore said: No. I didn't made it because of your response, which I just recently read. I made the thread in response to this thread's TITLE. "The Legend of Korra is utter dogshit". To be honest, I'm tired of negative threads like this, especially since they invite fights and discourse, so I made a positivity focused thread where not only we talk about shows we like, but where NO FIGHTS are allowed.
It's fine if you say "this thing sucks or good" since there's no harm having that. I'm fine if someone likes the thing I dislike and viceversa since it's a personal preference in the end of the day.
You can make it "positive" in this "negative" thread since what I said wasn't out of emotion.

Well to be honest here, you did came across as. But hey, it's fine if it wasn't the intention. I too sound something which I'm not lol

It's very hard to tell tone over the internet. I usually use emojis or the ending lol's to indicate I'm kidding around or not mad, but I was just sharing my feelings. I'll try to integrate more C: But it did feel a tad passionate. I'm just glad it wasn't intended either!
So anyways, uh. Korra? Korra. (I'm sorry for accidentally derailing OP :'))
"Cautiously optimistic" is a good way to put it. It does not need to be as good as the first, but if it lands somewhere between that and Korra, I'd be content.
On the upside, it's good that the original creators are doing it. They have done some good things, some bad things, true, but even if it ends up being not that good, at least for sure it will have the same "taste", rather than some third party produced soulless disaster (as the movie we're not talking about was).
I have no faith in it, the Avatar ip hasn't been good in a long time most of the people who worked on ATLA moved on to other things so almost none of that spirit is left
Although I'm sure Lily Orchard will still find a way to write the dumbest review of it possible and be wrong about everything since she has the brains of a used condom
