Good idea! It also feels good to cheer her up by making her laugh or tell her funny jokes.

So I would just ignore it and pass by. I would get blamed if I even got near so not the best idea.

Properly analyze the situation in questioning and think about what our conversations in the past have been like and what they or I have said to one another in order to discover if I'm the cause or if it's completely unrelated to me and question them if I reach a wall and If I come to the conclusion that I were the main cause behind them feeling this way I would attempt to reconcile and apologize and see where it goes from there

But if I discover that they were using me as a proxy so that they could vent their innermost emotions I would either take a calm or an upset approach depending on how they act if I confront them on their behavior.

But if they were the main cause behind it and tried to paint me as the villain in the situation despite evidence pointing to them trying to gaslight me, I would understandably be upset and either walk away or chew them out on their behaviour.

But if they show that they are genuinely apologetic for doing what they did and show that they are capable of changing for the better I would say something positive and move on.

Here's another thought, whenever a girl's feeling at her lowest, try taking her to a comedy club to cheer her up. Also tell her a funny joke to get her laughing.

Girls have some bad days and can use someone to cheer her up.

They say I'm upset, sad and heartbroken sometimes

ez. You tell her you care very much about her and want her to cheer up, then make her choose between pizza or steak, or bring her to a fancy buffet and make her eat her sorrow away lol
