I would have posted it earlier in the thread when myself and other users were still talking about it but I've only JUST now noticed that this article even existed.
If Lozer hasn't changed his mind by now, it is because he has no money to afford every single image the planet has to offer. I'd believe that if he admitted it too, since he can hardly afford the Japanese ones as it is.
May as well stop fighting him at this point. He has solidified the rule now. Western artist lovers can turn to the other boorus and rule 34 sites. Sure they have slow servers, but if we took on the images they did, we'd be even slower as well.
I'm not trying to argue for genuine Western art, or the low-quality Naruto/Bleach shit that comes around. Those can stay gone.
I'm trying to keep genuinely good artists around who do an Eastern art style better than some of the actual Japanese artists on the site.
I love bringing up someone like Kamitora, because his works are not Japanese-themed, but since he appears to be from Nippon, he's fine. Since he's topical, let's use Sigurd. Granted he's a big Lala-kun ripoff, but his works perfectly well look the part of something Eastern, but he has to go. That's where the rule disconnects with me. Your being from Japan should not be the only qualifier for if you're Japanese-themed. Style and talent, probably among other things I'm not thinking about, should also be considered.

He's had a moment or two, but the majority of Kami's stuff is pretty Western. Western style(albeit with bigger eyes), proportions that I link to Western drawn-porn, pretty much exclusive use of English, etc. If you take away his nationality, he's a contradiction of "Japanese-themed" with an exception or two.
Mike you can tell has inspiration from the usual Eastern style.
EDIT: I didn't notice this the first time:
>Though the defining of exactly what anime even looks like makes it hard to judge the style of artists.
That's true, but I think there's a pretty clear difference between Eastern style and Western style. That's the logic which I would be using in differentiating images, instead of asking "IS THIS ANIMAY?"
EDIT: Oh yeah, is anyone keeping any kind of list of banned, pending, and/or people who've been decided to be Japanese. That would help me out some. If not I can take a stab a whipping up at least a banned list.
