Well, lately, it seems to be coming closer to "Gelbooru is a site aimed to please our mods"
So, Japanese art. I'll buy that.
>This post was deleted. Reason: tos- it's horrible and you should feel bad for liking this. stop whining.
But deleting something merely because you/whatever mod doesn't like it? Isn't this why we have a blacklist?
If the above example of why the picture was deleted is not the whole reason, then, at the very least, this particular mod should be told to put what term of service it violates. I can't tell if this is an example of a mod having a bad day, if you've selected somebody untrustworthy, if they haven't read the ToS, or if they just can't quite grasp what "subjectivity" actually means.
I mean, your Terms of Service state clearly:
>Terms of Service, 6th bullet: You understand that there may be content on the Site that does not appeal to you or you feel is morally wrong.
>Prohibited Content, 8th bullet: Grotesque: Any depiction of extreme mutilation, extreme bodily distension, feces.
I, personally, think it's a bit... Contradictory. I am not into gore/mutilation, or scat, but I also understand to, by default, add those tags to my blacklist, or specifically omit them from my searches. If it's a Japanese artist, and the concept or depiction is original/derived in Japan, then I think at the very most, you should make it so for all new accounts, you should auto-blacklist them and make it so that it needs to be removed manually.
I'm not complaining or ranting. I just don't get some of the things the mods are doing lately.
Sorry if it seems like I am, and thanks to those who are patient with me... If anyone. :p

The problem with your solution, which has been proposed countless times and fails to be valid, is that we aren't deleting them to protect the users, but rather to uphold the rules as we have interpreted them.
Please do not use this thread to complain about any rules other than the artist rule. The current purpose of this thread is to report non-Japanese artists. There is another thread located at
forum #1737 where you can complain.
